I’m Nicolai, 45 years old, and I'm from Berlin, Germany. I started photography in spring 2020 during the COVID-19 outbreak to have a new activity I could do for myself. It was never planned, but the topic hooked me immediately. I was fascinated by how photography gives you a new look and perspective on everything around you. Suddenly you are always looking for new locations, studying the light, and observing the world around you differently. Also, photography really started my passion for travel, exploring new locations, and learning something new. So I have two new hobbies now. :)

My main focus now is city, architecture, and travel photography, but I also enjoy shooting events or products. I always want to try out new stuff.

Ich bin Nicolai, 45 Jahre alt und geboren und aufgewachsen in Berlin. Ich habe im Frühjahr 2020 inmitten des Corona-Lockdowns mit der Fotografie begonnen, um eine neue Aktivität zu finden, die ich auch alleine machen konnte. Ich hatte es niemals erwartet, aber das Thema hatte mich sofort völlig gepackt. Ich war fasziniert, wie die Fotografie die eigene Perspektive auf die Welt ändert. Schlagartig ist man immer auf der Suche nach neuen Motiven, studiert das Licht und beobachtet die Umgebung um sich herum auf eine völlig neue Art. Zusätzlich hat die Fotografie meine Leidenschaft fürs Reisen entfacht, immer darauf bedacht, neue Orte zu entdecken und etwas Neues zu lernen. Ich habe also nun zwei neue Hobbys. :)

Mein Schwerpunkt sind Stadt-, Architektur-, und Reisefotografie, aber ich fotografiere auch gerne Veranstaltungen oder Produkte. Ich bin immer bereit, etwas Neues auszuprobieren.
